are up to 3Mbps. Based on network testing, customers can expect speeds
between 512kbps and 1.5Mbps. Actual speeds will vary and may be slower.
Many factors affect speeds such as your distance from the mobile tower,
the capacity and load of the mobile tower, which bearer you are
currently using (GSM, 3G/HSDPA), your hardware and software, the source
of your download, and general internet traffic.
** Excess data is charged at 10c/MB & is capped at a maximum monthly
cost of $99
^ Customers don’t need to purchase the 3g hsdpa usb modem if they are
going to use their own 3G HSDPA USB Modem. In this case Dodo will only
supply the wireless broadband enabled SIM card at no cost to the
customer (free SIM card & free delivery). Customers also have the choice
of purchasing the 3G HSDPA USB Modem (wireless broadband enabled SIM
card) through Dodo at a one off cost of $99 +$10 delivery fee or
customers can avoid paying the delivery fee by picking up the modem from
the Dodo office in St Kilda Road, Melbourne.
^^Only available to customers who sign up to a 24 month contract. If you
cancel any part of the service during the agreed contract term, you will
be charged an early termination fee equal to the lesser of the monthly
fixed charge for each month remaining of the contract term or $400.
# $10 delivery fee applies or customers can avoid paying the delivery fee by picking up the modem from the Dodo office in St Kilda Road, Melbourne.

The Dodo USB modem works on both the 3G/HSDPA
network and the GSM network. This means that you can use your
Internet connection across Australia. Based on network testing
customers within the 3G/HSDPA coverage areas will experience speeds
between 512 Kbps & 1.5 Mbps (maximum download speed is 3 Mbps).
Actual speeds will vary & may be slower. When you are in GSM
coverage areas you will experience slower speeds similar to dial-up
internet about 20 to 40 Kbps (or even slower). |
