Q. Do I need a landline to use this service?
A. No landline (phone line) is required to use the Dodo Mobile Wireless Broadband service. You just need your laptop or desktop computer and the modem to get started.
Q. How does the USB modem choose a network to supply the service?
A. The Dodo wireless usb modem and software automatically selects the strongest signal from the Optus 3G/HSDPA and Optus GSM networks, so when you’re on the move, the connection is maintained. To ensure that you are connected to the best service available, the USB modem and software continually monitors network availability and will connect you to the network in the following order:
• Optus 3G network.
• Optus GSM network.
Q. What happens if I move in and out of coverage area?
A. The USB Modem will automatically connect to the available 3G or GPRS/EDGE networks until the next Optus network is available. The switch between networks is seamless.
Q. Does my computer meet the minimum specifications for Dodo Wireless Broadband?
A. The following are the minimum specifications for Dodo Wireless Broadband:

Hard disk: 50 MB or above.

Display resolution: 800 x 600 or above (1024 x 768 recommended).
